Privacy Policy

Family Taxi is a private ride coordination app for trusted family members and small groups, organized into Ride Networks. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email, phone number
• Ride data: pickup/drop-off locations, times, and instructions, scoped to the Ride Network(s) you belong to
• Google Calendar: if you connect your calendar as a driver, we access only your calendar events
• Billing information: if a Network's dispatcher subscribes, payment is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number

How We Use Your Information

• To coordinate rides between members of your Ride Network(s)
• To send ride notifications, reminders, and account emails (password reset, ride confirmations)
• To sync accepted rides to the driver's Google Calendar
• To process Ride Network subscription payments

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the app: Google Calendar (if connected by a driver), Stripe (payment processing for Network subscriptions), and Resend (delivers our emails — receives your email address and message content for that purpose only).
