Family Taxi is a ride-coordination tool for families, friends, and small organizations (carpool groups, homeschool co-ops, and similar) arranging rides among people who already know and trust each other. By creating an account or a Ride Network, you agree to these terms.
Family Taxi is for coordinating rides within a closed, invited group. Networks are private by default; a dispatcher may optionally accept join requests from people who have the network's join code, but the app is never a public directory of drivers or rides.
You may not use Family Taxi to operate a public or commercial ride-for-hire, taxi, or rideshare service; to charge riders a fare through the app; or to offer rides to the general public rather than a specific group of people you know.
We may suspend or terminate any Network or account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated or that a Network poses a legal, safety, or reputational risk.
Family Taxi coordinates ride requests and driver responses only. We do not perform driver background checks, verify insurance, or vet any participant. You are responsible for the safety and legality of the rides you arrange through the app.
Ride Network subscriptions are billed per network through Stripe. The network's dispatcher manages and can cancel the subscription at any time from Settings.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
